CHRISTMAS!!!

Merry Christmas Eve's Eve

Christmas is almost here. So I'll give some previews of one of the NBA games {Lakers vs. Celtics} for that day, and then maybe put a Christmas Video.

Boston Celtics @ LA Lakers

The Celtics are doing very well this season, but the Lakers haven't been trying their best. They lost 5 games so far, and Boston has only lost 2. 5 games is great, but not if you're losing to guys like Sacramento, Indiana, and Miami. Here's t! he matchups:

Rondo vs. Fisher

Also, many people are saying that the Celtics is a Big 4, not just a Big 3. Rajon Rondo has been playing very well, some games even better than the Big 3. I expect Rondo to outplay the Lakers' point guards this game. The two PG's are averaging around the same points, but Rondo also has 5 rebounds a game and 7 1/2 assists a game, while Fisher only has 2.6 and 3.3 as his other averages. Ouch.

Celtics 1

Allen vs. Bryant

You can kind of tell Ray Allen is slowing down, which will be an advantage for Kobe Bryant. His scoring average dipped a bit since he left the Sonics, and he has to share the spotlight with Garnett, Pierce, and now Rondo. So Kobe wins this one.

Lakers 1

Pierce vs. Ariza!

Even though it kind of bothers me that he thi! nks he's the best player in the world, he is still a great player. There's no question about this matchup, Pierce wins it.

Celtics 2

Garnett vs. Gasol

This one is kind of close, but I'm going to have to go with Garnett. He makes ridiculous turn around jumpers that no one else in the league can hit, and he can dominate the post whenever he wants. So expect him to outplay Pau this game. But, that doesn't mean he can't have a good game, too.

Celtics 3

Perkins vs. Bynum

Kendrick Perkins has been playing pretty well recently, but Bynum will try his hardest this game to dominate him. Perkins really can't do anything about it. Last year on Christmas, Bynum had 28 points and 13 rebounds as the Lakers beat the Suns. He will try even harder this game. He didn't get! to play last year in the Finals vs. Boston, so he will try and dominate the inside this game.

Lakers 2

Prediction: Celtics 101-Lakers 95

Oh well this is probably another year for the Celtics. Unless Cleveland can pull off something amazing, the Celtics most likely have the 2009 title locked up.
